2008 At the request of sculptor W. Alexander Kossuth (Milan) three self-portraits in oil by Sierk Schröder were exhibited during Kossuth's impressive exhibition at Nieuwkoop (Gallery Hoeve Rijlaarsdam), opened on November 15 by Silvio Marchetti, director of Istituto Italiano di Cultura per i Paesi Bassi. For the exhibition the three portraits were given on loan by the Sierk Schröder Foundation, as well as the portrait Sierk Schröder at a glance, in terra cotta, made by Kossuth in 1988 click here.

2010 (September/October/November) in 'Floragebouw', Boskoop (a National Monument). Shortly before the exhibition started, this beautifully restored building was opened by Her Majesty.
The exhibition of 86 works was opened on 17 September by Professor Dr. J.C. (Jan) Terlouw. The first copy of the book 'Sierk Schröder', introduced by Antoine Bodar, was presented to Mrs. M.J.(Mieke) Schröder-Ottevanger, widow of the painter, by Professor Dr. L.F.W. de Klerk, chairman of the Sierk Schröder Foundation (reviews Algemeen Dagblad, De Leidsche Courant and De Telegraaf: It is time that the major museums do realize that a survey of the Dutch twentieth century is incomplete without the work of Schröder, writes Bertjan ter Braak, Telegraaf's editor in chief for art and culture: the exhibition was rated five stars
